Salon des Grandes Complications (SDGC) returns for a second time to Saudi Arabia this April, with two events. The exhibition will debut in Jeddah at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel from 9-12 April and move to Al Faisaliah Hotel, Riyadh from 16-19Â April.
The event is set to include brands such asÂ Armand Nicolet, Armin Strom, Blancpain, Breguet, FabergÃ©, Franck Muller, Girard-Perregaux, Greubel Forsey, Harry Winston, Hysek, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Panerai, Quinting, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron Constantin and Zenith with the support of retailers Al Fardan Jewellery, Abdullah Said Binzagr Jewellery & Watches and Platinum Sands.
Mechanical masterpieces will be on show, fromÂ new innovations, to examples of historial savoir-faire. Visitors are invited to delve into fine watchmaking and get up close and personal with timepieces that are among the best in the world, interacting with watchmakers and designers themselves.
Salon des Grandes Complications was first launched in the UAE in 2014 and has taken place every year since â€“ in 2017 also branching out to Saudi Arabia.
In January 2018, Saudi Arabia was named 12th largest export market for Swiss watches by the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry. In 2017, Saudi was the 2nd biggest market in the region for Swiss watch exports, with a total value of CHF 325.1 million.
